Praxis Care is currently experiencing exceptional growth and, as a result, have the following vacancies within Intellectual Disability Services:
Support Worker (Male only)
Castlebar, Co. Mayo
Stations Lodge & House, Castlebar, Mayo provides residential care to adults with Intellectual disability, Acquired Brain injury, mental illness and behaviors that challenge. This is a new residential home which is opening in October/November 2021.
In Praxis Care we strive to ensure that each resident has a service tailored to their needs and is person centered, respecting and promoting their choices. Residents have a dedicated key working team who are there to support each resident in achieving their goals, dreams and aspirations. Resident rights and choice are promoted within scheme with residents been actively involved in their homes and community. Staff are visitors in the resident’s home and therefore must practice the values of dignity and respect at all times. Staff are provided with all mandatory training along with scheme specific training to ensure that staff have the knowledge and skill base required to support each resident.
Support Worker (Male Only)
€27,790-38,262 per annum*
The lawful recruitment of a Male for this position falls within the exclusion allowed by section 25 (1) and (2) of the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2015.
- Salary information is based on working full time hours. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. Full time / Part time and Relief contracts are available and can be discussed at interview.
